About the event
The Ocean Gold Offshore Race 2025, part of the YAI – Ocean Gold Konkan Offshore Sailing Week 2025, stands as a showcase of offshore sailing in India. From 8th to 14th December 2025, the race will chart a spectacular course from Mumbai to Goa, pausing at the historic harbour of Vijaydurg along the Konkan coast.
At its heart, the week celebrates both competition and camaraderie through two landmark events:
Ocean Gold Offshore Race (OGOR): A true test of endurance and seamanship, this offshore race brings together keelboats and Bombay Harbour Seabird class yachts. The journey begins at the iconic Gateway of India and concludes off the shores of Goa.
Goa Yachting Rendezvous (GYR): A festival of racing in Goa, featuring Seabird class fleet races and a keelboat challenge around Grande Island, combining sporting spirit with coastal charm.
Blending heritage, adventure, and world-class competition, the Ocean Gold Offshore Race is more than a regatta — it is a celebration of India’s offshore sailing tradition.
